    Mac help

    Who wants to help with a mac?
    Its a powerbook g4
    Its been quite some time since i worked on one and im basically trying to
    Speed it up. Os 10.4
    Friend was complaining it takes 45 mins to load safari or firefox!

    I think you might want to try a mac forum for that. Just a thaught.

    I would start with the hard drive, if you have another hard drive that you know is good, put that one in and write it. If it acts the same then there is a motherboard / memory problem. Then it is not worth fixing. Even if it the hard drive, new hard drives are still expensive and maybe not worth fixing.

    Yeah i heard a new hard drive wil make it more effient.
    I figure it wouldnt hurt to ask as some people in the ewaste generally know pc's and macs
