How do you start your work day?

This is how I start my day (Monday to Friday)

6am wake up and lay in bed and relax and think of the things that need to be done and plan the day the best I can

6:20ish check company and private e-mails to see what came in.

6:30 getting my morning cup of tea and something to eat.

    6:40 take a shower

7:00 sit at computer and check kitco pricing then base metals....start replying to e-mails but save them as drafts until 9am when company opens

8:00 get dressed for work and load up the truck with side arm, money, laptop

8:30 start office coffee pot and get the day ready to start

9:00 send e-mails and start the work day

Just would like to see how other people start there work day.

I wake up at 3:11 every day. Get ready for work

Out the door at 3:37 Then drive to work. I punch in start everybody's garbage truck and check them all out. Then I leave for my rout at around 4:15. It is usually a few hours before I see a single person and love it. Usually have lunch around 7:30-8:00. Then I am usually finished with work aound 12:00-2:00. Then the rest of the day is dealing with my scrap that I do on the side, if its slow I usually get a nice nap in.

Somewhere between 3:30 and 5:00 - wake up, get dressed, get 1st cup of coffee, log onto SMF and look through "New Posts"
5:15 - go get paper and read before -
6:15 - get wife up to start her day
7:00 - go back to SMF while she gets ready
7:25 - She leaves for work and I start my breakfast
7:30 - 9:00 - eat and watch Fox News or recorded shows from last evening (Rawhide and Wagon Train)
9:00 - 10:00 - Decide what I want to do that day (if anything). Periodically check SMF
10:00 on - Do that till I'm tired of it. Then go do something else. (repeat). Periodically check SMF.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I wake up and go to sleep when ever i want. But usually it goes
    -Wake up and feed cat
    -Bathroom time
    - Plant based mind relaxation
    - out the door in under 15 minutes to chase them trash trucks
    - get back home and hit up smf and wait till the next trash run or load pick up call.

And thats what i do ^-^

Checking SMF has become part of my morning routine as well. It is also a regular daily activity now that I can access it from anywhere without too much trouble thanks to my tablet. Of course lately I have had to add snow removal to my morning list of activities....Gotta love this weather...Yesterday there was over an inch of snow on the ground and then last night the temperature was steadily rising, it hit 47 just after midnight and stayed that way until 3 pm today when the wind kicked up and dropped the temp. So now there is no snow but a nice load of mud.

Coffee gets made first, period. Plain and simple. I am a coffee snob. I grind fresh every day and have a BUNN that is pretty near to perfect for a coffee snob. When I have the time and the materials, I even roast my own beans every week for the coming week's coffee drinking. Fresh roasted does not get any better than roasting the beans yourself.

Anyhoo. I fire up the puter and step in the shower after that.

Craig's list, e-mails, financials, then to facebook for a bit. I need no less than 2 cups to get going. Prefer 3, so I take a good hour before I can get moving and always plan accordingly.

No real time frame to this, but it typically starts around 7 in the morning or so depending on my schedule at the nursing home. I have nothing to do there tomorrow until 2 so I am staying up late tonight and having fun with my everquest friends and will sleep in.

The rest of the day is comprised of constant checking of Craig's list, garbage runs, etc. then finished off with a couple of Rum and diet drinks and maybe a shot of some good sipping tequila.

Gotta make the COFFEE first! Don't wanna talk to nobody, don't wanna see nobody till AFTER the first three cups. I'm not a coffee snob. Just want it STRONG. Want the dang to stand up in it. Normally wake at 5:00 am and drink my coffee n check out this forum. By 7:30 or so the WHOLE POT is gone and so am I. Off to another wonderful day in SCRAPLANDWORLD! And LOVING every minute of it!

Load the coffee pot the night before so I can just hit the switch at 430ish. Not sure why I can't sleep past then, but it's nice a quiet around here so I don't complain. Check the forum and MDG has already had 2 posts deleted by then(sorry dude, I couldn't resist). Check emails, make sure no one has hacked the bank acct over night, shower, get the wife up @ 615 if I don't her her rattling around down there, start moving inventory to where ever it might be going or go buy more.

Usually up at 6am,try not to move for 5-10 minutes, gotta pee!!!, move..oh man the pain starts, both shoulders and left knee. I stand leaning on the dresser and hobble to the head. Oatmeal, fruit, maybe an egg, tea (trying to stay off coffee..),check weather. Walk 1/2 mile to yard if its 40 or warmer, otherwise drive. I slowly start working to loosen up hope for the best, some days are a wash/some are good....
