advertising on forum

Admins, sorry if I posted on the wrong section. If I did plz move me. Curious on something. I plan to get the sub soon, but was wondering if it'/s alright to advertise on my sig......like say metal recyling scranton, pa and surrounding with my phone number and what I can do for people.."??"?"?

That type of advertisement would go in the Services section at the top of the forum after you upgrade your subscription. That section gets alot of targeted traffic and many members here get jobs regularly from their advertisements there.

There's really no set rules for signature advertising except for you can't have links in your signature until you reach a minimum post count (which you have). You could drop your phone number in there if you want sure, but your advertisement thread at the top of the forum will be far more beneficial.

I do however expect the signature rules to change at some point in the near future as far as advertising goes, I'll make an announcement about that when we decide.

PS - you posted in the right section, it's off topic. You can also submit a support ticket if you'd like to discuss anything forum specific with an admin.
