Ozzy, your dad was a lucky man to have you. Remember the good times. . . .He knows
Sorry to hear of your father. This year is 9 years since I lost my father, and 13 years since I lost my mother. You never forget about them. Not a day goes by, that you wont think of him.
Prayers to your family!

So sorry to hear this. I have not been through it myself and count myself lucky to have both of mine closing in on 80, but I know it will come.
Heartfelt wishes coming to you from down south. Hoping you can find whatever you need to help you through this.
You and your family will be in my prayers, Ozzy. I lost my Mom 10 years ago this past Christmas eve and it will get easier with time, although it doesn't seem like it now. Remember the good times you had with your Dad, it'll help.
Very sorry for your loss. Remember the good times. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate the kind words and prayers. It is a very tough for me atm. The simplest things remind me of my father and get me going crying again. But the intial shock and anger is slowly slipping, start to accept it. As a wide man once told it is, what is, and there nothing you can do to change it. Just hope my mom doesnt go next in a few weeks. She was just diagnosed at 40% heart function and just had cancer surgery 6 months. I just pray that stress doesnt push her over......
Sorry to hear about your dad M8, may he rest in peace.
Loosing a family member is hard. But like a wide man once said to me as well. "When its time its time". The wide man is my father. He has had an irregular heartbeat now for 10 years and is on blood thinners even went threw a gastric bypass to try and get his weight down. I too am just waiing for the call from mom one day that he is no longer with us. My thaughts will be with you and yours. Grieve, cry, and move on. Im sure your father wouldnt have wanted it any other way. I know mine doesnt.
Hey man I feel your pain and loss its aweful. I lost my dad last June 30th . It was sudden and out of the blue he was getting out of the hospital the next day . I was lucky enought to be with him when he died to hold his hand . We were always very close he was my best friend . Im 55 he was 84 and the age doesnt matter its all painful there is never a good time . My family was getting ready for my younger brother to die last June he had colon cancer that spread everywhere before they found it . My brother died two weeks later . I dont know if time heals I hope so . The only real consolation is knowing that and believing that when we leave here we enter a whole new world ,one that we cant comprehend while we are still here . We are all - in this world but we are not of this world . We came from the spirt world before we were born and we return to it . As for the lights Ive been told by a medium the same thing . I also feel my fathers presence quite often and Ive noticed a couple times now when I started to do something that I shouldnt be doing . I seem to have dreams about him .He 's watching out for me . Prob the same with your dad . I start my days on my knees and end them that way . Prayaer and meditation have become a regular thing with me . Just hang in there and believe that he is feeling better and you will both be together again .
Ozzy, I feel your pain. I lost my Grandmother one week ago today. She was 86 and very ill for over a month, and even knowing her passing was coming.... didn't help. You are in my prayers. It will get easier as time passes, but never easy!
I'm so sorry for your loss Ozzy.
Prayers for you and your family
