PTS is buying items at more than scrap if they test good. *I believe his scrap prices are intended more for his local market where people can get a decent price without the shipping cost. *I sent PTS a box of hard drives and ram received more than scrap price. *The ram I sent worked out to about $25 a lb. *The process did bring to my attention that I need to update some of my disassembly and sorting procedures to ensure higher rate of working items and avoid redundant sorting. *Bottom line - if you want more than scrap but don't want to mess with multiple eBay/cl transactions PTS is where it's at.

Thanks PTS! *Next box going out beginning of the week.

Like there puter is worth gold or something....thats why I dont bother running any escrap ads anymore. Good luck you.
YEah im gearing my site more towards local market. Not trying to compete with the likes of ewatsed and easy just yet. Best local yard here only pays $2 a pound for motherboards and $5 a pound for ram. So if anyone in the denver metro area wants to sell local and dont know about the boys here on the forum ill be glad to buy thier stuff. Now on the more than scrap value working stuff I think thats a new niche in the market here on the forums.

What or who did you use for for setting up the site? And do you use bubble envelopes for shipping anything from ebay?

I eneded up using www1and1.com. First 6 months free then 6.99 a month after that. I use all the free stuff the post office will send you. Padded flat rate envelops, flat rate boxes, regional rate boxes. I also baught some padded envelopes from ebay. Got like 500 for 20 bucks for small first class shipping. Can usualy ship a few ounces for less than $2.

Great job on the site! The layout has a easy flow and direct content. Also, enjoyed that there are no tracking sites attached to your site.
