Anything over the 40 inch range are the ones i will take to my guy to get fixed. And i wont ever buy westing house, they have major issues with there products. the screen i use now is on and has scrap metal forums burned into the screen.

Broken screens arnt worth fixing from what I have found. the bigger you get the more the replacement screen costs. The shop I go to that fixes them says he wont even do it anymore cause its not worth it.

I got a 52 inch LG flat screen in today. Screen was hit with a "wiimote". My guy came out and looked at it, wouldnt even pay me $1 for it. Said to replace the screen, he could just buy a new one.

Will be on my tear down bench soon

If it works and just the screen is broke tear them down with care. Then look up the boards on ebay some can fetch good prices for parts.

Oldude, the only other option would be if you could find someone with a twin that is blown up then you (or someone) could take the two and make one good one.
