    Wow Tpak, that brings back memories. It was around 1956 when I saw the first tv in my town. It was at the furniture store. We bought our first one in 1958 I think. But, we didn't have a remote until the 80's !!

    My dad had the first remote and he made it himself. I believe it was about 1979 and i was 5 years old he would have me sit by the TV and turn the knob for him so he could channel surf.

    I have that 1960 Ford commercial right here on my computer! That's cool that someone else has it too. I think I was born in the wrong time period. I love all things old like this.
