thanks olddude. So far so good. It's not even raining yet, although we've had some sprinkles. I worked outside until about an hour ago when the wind picked up. Thanks again for thinking of me. The storms have come close to Scrappette also. Let's pray for everyone who may get bad weather tonight.
My prayers are with you Dee. On the good side maybe thiere will some good scrap to be had, Although this is not the way we want to get it.
Just finished talking with Scrappette and she is fine! Oh and the weather did not bother her either!

The closest tornado "hit" was 3 miles outside of town. Destroyed an old, classic house, but the people just got scratches. Further north in Dallas, GA a whole neighborhood was destroyed...no casualties that I know of. Ya'll probably know more than I do because I'm getting all my news through FB, since I don't do TV. (don't tell Tpak ! lol)
Was loading up my trailer to go to the yard this morning. Got thoroughly dumped on. Looks like I'll have to wait for Monday.
What town are you in erewen ? It stopped raining here around 11am. Started again at noon though....slow and constant now. I got a little done outside ! Plan to ride over to the tornado "path" later. Went within 100 ft of "my" dumpsters. Owner of the house that was destroyed used to come over to the dumpsters to talk to me a lot...saved cans for me, too. This has not been a good year for him....there is a totaled car in his yard, too. Plus he has lot's of health problems. For you praying folks...their name is Davis. don't know first names. Do know their son Rocky Davis, but he lives elsewhere. Thanks for reporting on our Scrappette Joe. I was worried about her. Someone on FB said a baby was found in a field 10 miles from his home in IL and is in critical condition in a hospital in Kentucky, so I was afraid she was in the thick of it. If anyone has a spare laptop, please send it to Scrappette..hers crashed and she has to go to the library. tia (lol cory )
Excuse my ignorance, thankfully we don't get much tornado action here, but is it pretty early in the year to be seeing tornado's like you guys have had? Just curious.
just for you devo....I liked the way this meteorologist explained it....http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/forum.php
Dee, you can put in the call letters of the (yours) local TV station in Google and nine times out of ten their on the internet now, here is an example of one of ours. Heck if I miss a show while at dialysis all I have to do is get on here and look up which episode I missed and watch it. Even has up to the minute storm trackers that will alert you of a storm warning in your county. Beings you don't watch TV you might want to think about this alternative with storm season coming up.Ya'll probably know more than I do because I'm getting all my news through FB, since I don't do TV.

Thanks for that M688...I usually just go to Weather underground, but that will be better. A bit more rain coming tonight....now we have a flood watch. My ditch always runs over...esp when I forget to clean it out...the city never does !
Thoughts and prayers go out to all of you caught in these storms.
We had a bad October snowstorm here that took down tremendous amounts of trees and left 90% of CT without power for over a week. I thought I had it bad with all the road closures and the inability to even get gasoline due to lack of electricity at the stations but I cannot even imagine what it must be like to go through what you guys and gals are.
Just make sure your ready for the next storm like this guy, you could be protected and jam with T-Pac at the same time,,,lol

Dee - I'm in Tifton. Good to hear you came through ok. Looks like we'll dry out pretty good today with this sunshine.
