If you enjoy your freedom, thank a vet.
If you do start talking on there your gonna need a license im pretty sure. but your over there so i dunno the laws. Cbs are fun as hell, cant wait to get mine set back up.
They abandoned our license about 20 years ago, That's one thing I did for a living was sell and repair CB's. Look now they are building 80-300 watters with basically an amp built right into the radio. This was one of my best sellers.
i got it hooked to a car battery now, i want to hook it up to something that will plug into the wall so when i take it to a friends house i can plug it in, i hooked it to a old 12v power supply i found in the cupboard
License? We don't need no stinkin license.
I have a cobra 29, cobra 19, and some little midland something or another. Always had them in my trucks with firesticks.
Had my 29 in my '96 Monte Carlo with a K40 whip on the trunk.
Had the Midland in my 1990 Honda Accord with a smaller antenna on the trunk.
I want to put one of them in my Civic but I can't find a small enough antenna. Broke the base of the one I had on my accord, and the K40 is stupidly tall for it, and I have a Wilson 5000 thats even taller.
Thought I'd share.
Try the lil Wil, same height as the K-30 but with a bigger coil to handle more power if needed.
I've been looking for one, don't want to pay new price for it, and nobody has a used one. One guy wanted to trade me a little wil for my 5000 straight up. I told him to get bent.
10-4 good buddy!!
I had a cobra 29 hooked in my old truck had dual whips but would only work with one hooked up. And the cb kept getting interference from the engine. Now I got a 97 f150 and got to figure out how and we're to hook up and mount it.
Like I told you in another post, if you find an old computer just pull the power supply and one of the wires is 12 volt + and the black wires are grounds. They are a good small power pack for a cb radio cause the 'puter supply is filtered a lot better than the cheap store bought power supplies.
