Doppler radar maps are always helpful to track storms, but another new and very neat website is the live wind map (much cooler than it sounds). It helps me to make a little more accurate predictions for where storms are likely to move to. Probably not for the dialup folks.

Little rough if your out on a job, maybe stop and check your laptop, but a warning radio you'd still be able to hear if it went off outdoors.
