When I was working in commercial construction I picked up a fair size stack of 4x8ft styrofoam insulation panels after they'd been used to protect elevator walls and such. When I started selling on Ebay I used almost every bit of it for shipping. It cuts easy and pads well. Makes packing some things a breeze, and reinforces the packages too. Even when I was running out of the free stuff I considered buying some to use. It was only about 5 dollars a sheet then, still well worth it for stable, padded, packaging
