Hello from New Hampshire
Hi everyone,
I have been hanging around here for the last couple of weeks, just reading and learning. I have been in and out of the scrapping business since the early 1990's. I recently got back into it again due to a change in my financial situation.
I will be focused on recycling AC Units, home refrigerators, freezers and most other appliances that have freon. I just recently passed my EPA 608 certification for type I & II. Was trying for my universal but I guess I missed a couple of questions on the type III exam so I didn't quite get me universal certification. I plan on offering freon recovery services for the general public as well as local scrappers. By the end of August, I should also have my EPA 609 certification as well. This will allow me to recover freon from cars. for some reason there isn't a lot of people offering these services up here and the ones that do don't advertise it for some reason.
I look forward to getting to know all of you here and hope that I can contribute something of value
Gary

Welcome! I am in central NH and have actually been trying to find someone who's certified. You're a little far...do you have people come to you or do you go to them? II have a yard full of fridges and ACs just waiting for freon evacuation. PM me how much you charge, etc. Again, welcome!

I've been to Pittsfield before.. Had a buddy that lived in an awesome place up that way off some hard packed dirt road. Road was hell come spring time but we had fun out that way. I spent six years living in and around Manchvegas, all in all, aside from the sports teams up there, the Granite State is one fine place. :)
Welcome aboard.
