For those of you looking for a new cordless screwdriver, I just picked up a Craftsman 3.6 volt with case and bits for a closeout price of $ 6.00. Kmart is closing them out so if you need a spare then get them quickly before their gone. I went on their website to check for availability. Their normal price is $24.99.

I have a couple of those but I like the little black and decker drill on sale at home depot they are twice as fast for tear down.
I have a black and decker that I got from wal-mart for 20.00 works great, I've had it for about 6 months now.
I just thought that for $6.00 it would make it a good spare, heck if you used it a month or two then it would be paid for. I might go back for another one, I really like the adjustable choke settings so you don't break off the tiny bits.
This would have been something to keep in the car for those days that I "forget" to grab the drill on my way out the door. All out at the one store we have here.
I keep 2 of these and use them for little stuff like hard drives,roms and other little stuff but they don't have much power
nice to have a few of those around for spairs. but you cant beat the little hitachi. 2 for $139 charges in an hour and last for a solid 2 days on a charge and is very light aand very fast. just my .o2
I like Hitachi. Bosch is an underated brand too
not really under rated, but underappreciated kinda, can't really think of the word
I feel you cannot beat a dewalt. 18v is plenty of power and torque.
i would say dewalt or millwalkee if they make them ps ryobi sucks
I use Bosch, have two, very happy with them. Enough power and battery lasts pretty long.
i use a porter cable 18v. 31 torque ajustments 2 speeds. It also carried the best warranty on market I found of 3 years on a REMANUFACTURED drill. the ni-cad battery lasts me a day or two doing electronic and appliance tear down.
li-ion batteries last twice as long as my ni-cad but are a bit more spendy. i bought mine as a kit with drill, sawzall, circular saw, flashlight, carrying bag, charger (ni-cad only) and 2 ni-cad batteries for $99.99. about $135 with lithium vattery for the set. you can also buy a dual type charger for 25 that can charge either type of battery and just get either type. both types work on the tools.
