Possible Good News For The Future of E-Waste Recycling...

I was just reading the Wiki page on E-Waste and I noticed this little bit of information which made me smile at the potential opportunities in the E-Waste Recycling Markets of the near future, at least in the USA.

With only 300 million pounds of industry wide recycling of E-Waste in 2010 and an ESTIMATED increase of recycled E-Waste going into the billions of pounds in the next four years (2016), that could mean A LOT more opportunity for the E-Scrapper's out there as well.

Isn't it nice to know that each of us that recycles E-Waste for more income or for a safer environment or both has the potential to share in such a large increase of product in the near future:confused: Anyway, reading that made me smile and I wanted to share it. :cool: :D :cool:

To bad that includes about 999,999,999 pounds of CRT monitors....LOL

Bad for E-Scrappers... Good for E-Waste Recycling companies.. Won't be able to get business the same way you are used to getting it.. (cold calls, etc.)

It's really a good news for e waste recycling companies with so much untapped e waste in the environment, it is an opportunity to contribute significantly to the E waste recycling and possible reuse.

I don't like it, it should really be left up to us scrappers who like to work hard for a pay check. I say keep the money spread even, and not in the hands of the 1%
