input need asap

Im goin to meet this guy in a few hours. Just want some input from the more expierenced guys here. some of the tablets are supposedly brand new and could possibly be resold? also he said he will include 10 or more full towers along with some more mobos and other comp parts and he said 80+ lbs of wires. idk whats in the boxes yet till i get there and dig in. he said 250 is what he wants and his lowest. is it worth it? idk whats in tablets as far as scrap for the ones that dont work or the resale value of them yet. any input highly appreciated. thanks guys and gals.

I'd look at it closer before offering $250. If he lets you, turn on some of the tablets and other stuff. If some of them work, I'd offer $200 and see what he says. Emphasize that you'd be paying him cash on the spot and hauling it all away. 80 lbs of wire would get me at least $60-$70 in my area, plus the 10 PC towers are going to be at least $100 in scrap, if that's all they're good for. I'd say you'll make out pretty good, even if you have to pay full price.

Id pass at $250, the amount of time to process laptops its not worth it. Id offer $150 for it and walk away if they want more. That stuff is so old its not worth it even if there are a couple that work.

Where you meeting at? Not his place I hope. If he meets you somewhere with all the stuff he will probably take less than his asking price!

i can prob get him to meet me somwhere didnt think about that. he wouldnt want to load then unload again. and times not really a issue since i dont get a whole lot in to process anyways. so without time bein a issue is it at least a decent deal?

Also ask how he ended up with so many new/unopened tablets. Agreed on $200, he says that 250 is his lowest but he says obo in his ad. 2 benjamins talk pretty loudly to most folks :) Hope you get it!

ok thanks for all the input and info. ill get it for 200 prob wont pay more that was my original number in my head anyways. but does anyone know whats in a tablet for scrap?

Just remember. Only because he says new in box doesn't mean it is. Or that it works. Looks like its been outside for God knows how long.

If those toshiba tecra's are working you can sell them on Ebay for more than scrap. I see at least 5 or 6 of them.

ok i might just try to get teh towers, mobo, laptops, wires, and he said a box full of laptop batteries. and just leave the tablets if they are super old and i can get a good deal with out them.

If nothing in the tablets put them in with the shread...

well from what he said in his ad and on the phone. a majority of the stuff is the tablets. so if i can take those out of the equation then maybe i can get the rest for a lot cheaper. idk worth a shot if he wont budge and its not really worth it.
