I found a free mason ring in a box of wire I bought took it to a pawn shop and they said its not gold but it pitted it looks like but I never heard of a ring made of brass. Here is a pic of it it's not that good.

if it's gold it should be marked as such. have you tried googling info on freemason rings ?

They make rings out of brass all the time. Most of your rhodium electropate highschool rings are based in brass. If you think its gold ide be glad to test it for you if you want to send it to me. Ill even pay the return shipping back to you just to help you out. Send me a PM if you want.
I know it's not gold. But I have been thinking the ring silver color and gold so it could be brass wonder what it's worth?
