I have around 13 or 14 different hard drives from the 20 or so PCs I tore down over the weekend and today.
Most of them are buy the same manufacturer and the same gb.
So I was wondering how I should sell them on ebay...individually, grouped, or buy it now with the number of HDs I have?
You need to do a fixed price style listing and add the qty to it to match what you have of the one that is the same. The rest sell them off individually or in a lot.

Theres 3 different types of listings you can run on ebay, you have auction, fixed price and store listings. I use a combination of my ebay store and auctions. Fixed price is inbetween those. It is for sellers that dont want to take the risk of an auction and dont have a store. You choose a set price to sell your item at and add the quantity of the item you have. There is also the option to take offers, i use that on all of my listings.Quote:

sounds like a good way to sell some of this stuff.
pts made a post on one of my threads a few months ago about how to decide whether to do a 1, 3, 7 or 30 day listing.
if I remember correctly, it was about how popular the item is and all.
I mainly have done 7 day auctions and have always done good minus like 4 or 5 times.
George, I have had better luck with "buy it now" for hard drives. If you can get a group of the same exact ones together they seem to sell for a bit more. The one advantage of selling individually is that there are more transactions to add to your feedback score.

I usually only sell 80GB and higher. 15.00 for an 80GB is about the most you can expect. Laptop drives go for a bit more. I always do free shipping and use small flat rate box. Just make sure you pack them carefully.

I generally charge $3.99 to $5 for s&h and have sold then with free s&h sometimes as well.
People seem to like the free shipping, even if you adjust your price up to compensate. You also get an automatic 5 stars for your shipping rating.
