Old Transistor Radio
A member of my church gave me a bunch of old electronics to scrap and in them was a Sony TR-610 6 Transistor radio from the '50s. I looked it up on E-bay and have seen them sell for between $26 and $275. All I need to do is go out and get a 9V battery to test it to see if it still works before listing it. If it sells, not a bad haul just for someone giving me a few things.

next time ask em if they've got a battery ; ) haha. Those old transistor radios might be an interesting venture. I remember in the 60s, Radio Shack I believe it was, sold scrap transistor boards, and guys would buy them to use the transistors etc to build there ham radio projects or whatever

Also back in the 60s Radio Shack had a "free battery" program, you just signed up and got your "card" and went by there once a month for 12 months, and got yourself a free battery. It could be a 9V, or a C, or D, etc, etc

Many people collect older transister radios.
