Looking good Cory. Nice set up!
Looks like it's working out for you. Still thinking about that smoked porkchop though!
wow those mitsubishi"S are worth BIG BUCKS here i got $3k for a non runner that needed a trans
Nice set up!
How much was it?
I loved those boxy old vans of the late 80s.
I hope you saved the van
And the tilt trailer is nice, while it tilts. Only one i used sucks monkey balls.
yes more info on the winch please, im currently using a hand crank boat winch with change of direction pulley so its off set on the edge of the trailer for easy access, its cheap and it works good but were always looking to upgrade
Looks good cory. Nice job on re-investing some profits back into the company.
first let me say i scrapped it, because i looked on ebay for them because i thought the same thing, the only one was a clean runner out in california and it was at $1999 with no bids if i remember right, so figured if it wasnt worth anything running in the world of surfboards it wasnt worth anything here for sure, the only thing worth pulling for parts was the tail lights.
i put it here so no one would have to search

the winch is a 12000 lb ramsey, i picked it up at one of my wrecker services for 400, while i was hauling in a car today on the old trailer steve went and picked up a wireless remote at harbor freight for 24.99 and hooked it up to the tilt trailer (different connectors but steve is an electronic guru) and he played with it and said it works great. the tilt trailer has the same setup as all the dump trailers so its set up really well, i don't expect to have many problems out of it.
hey brass i reinvest all the time, but i gotta be honest, when i went full time i had a nice chunk that averaged about 12% over 13 y ears with a %50 match that i paid %20 taxes with a %10 penalty :) i figured if i was gonna do it i needed to do it right and i won't know if i made the right decision to be honest until i hit retirement age. we now have the 3/4 ton with the dovetail, and the 1 ton with the hydraulic tilt trailer. we also still have the wedge that we are talking about selling to buy another trailer for my other 3/4 ton. only time will tell
Harbor freight has their 12000# winch on sale for 300 right now. Not as good as a Ramsey but for the money impossible to beat. I got the 9000 # on my car trailer and it's NEVER let me down. No tires, upside down its winched em all on. I'd highly recommend it and get the two year warranty while your at it. Ive yet to need it but ya never know.
someone bid on the van it at 2000
Hell Yeah! Lovin that rig!
