I guess i was not suppose to post this on ewasted thread, he's the buyer I plan on sending to. But Should the tall screw extensions be removed from these boards? I assume they are gold plated but not really sure.

looks like brass, taking it off or leaving it on would be between you and your buyer, i personally take them off.
Yeah that's definetly brass, I've come across them before. Weather you leave them on or off is up to your buyer. I myself take them off.
I take them off and screw them all togather so I can have a long Brass stick to beat people with.
Thanks guys. I'm new to all of it.. I scratched them up and they were a silver color, had no idea brass was used on boards. Making a beating stick is my number one option right now
Did you put a magnet to them? I ask because you said after you scratched them there was silver color under the coating. Probably not brass. Maybe stainless or plain old steel.
They wil be Brass.
Brass is easly machined as it needs no cooling fluid, the tooling never wears out & it normally needs no coatings against corrosion.
Compare the price you get for Brass & the price for the boards & see what you get more $$ for.
They do make those out of aluminum, maybe their anodized(I think that's the way to spell it) aluminum. Take them off and hold them in your hand, if they have any weight to them then they are brass but I think they are aluminum. My buyer would say take them off.
Removing things like that allow for you to pack your boards tighter and take up less space which can save money on shipping.
