Cutting Tools
Okay, I have a question about what kind of cutting tool is best for cutting up a large, rusty, metal chicken coop, It's not just chicken wire it is a large thick iron cage. It is 6' Long 3' Tall And 3' Wide, I burned up a $150 lithium battery sawzall cutting It up. I know there is cutting torches, but what kind would be the best? I am only 14, so I do not want any dangerous torches that could cause damage. If anyone knows what tools would be good to cut this up please tell me. Thanks, -DevinTheScrapper

Seen this thread that is currently being discussed? Also...it would be better to use a corded sawzaw on bigger things instead of a battery operated one.

If it helps from my experience a quality corded Sawzall has more power and can cut through more things with ease though a cordless is sure nice to have for certain situations.

Maybe a corded angle grinder with a cut-off disk would work. Just watch where the sparks go. Like others have said, corded Sawzall is MUCH better than cordless for heavy duty cutting.
