My scrap yard tells me to throw then in a 55 gallon drum there but they only buy them as shred. Should I be getting electric motor price or a seperate price alltogether? :&

my yard buys them as motors. BUT they only give ten cents a pound for motors,flybacks,and transformers.im in southern ohio and in desperate need to find a buyer that buys the transformers and other cbm,s for a better price.i wouldnt mind driving a bit i can just wait till i can fill a truck load.by the way shred price is 8 cents a pound here

My yard wont take them at all, but another one will farther away does. I read the old heavy ones have copper but tar/PCB inside.
