I have been searching for an answer on youtube and the web to this question. What can I do with the bulbs/tubes in the Rear Projection? I want to disassemble it for the aluminium, but don't want to release and dangerous gases. (Not Sure if there is any inside). Any help would be awesome.

If it's a DLP rear-projector, then that just has a light bulb. Nothing dangerous to speak of. If it's a CRT rear-projector, then you have to beware of the awful vacuumoniom gas inside. It'll get you! Read the 500 threads already on SMF that discuss CRTs for info on those.
Thanks Wolf. I believe its a CRT one, because it has the 3 lens on it. I also was reading that there is a mineral oil inside the tubes as well. I want the copper that's in the yokes, but don't know if I should take the risk.
The yokes will slide off the tube after removing the 2 stainless steel clamps. The oil will only come out if you take the crt off the lense to get that cast alum. But there is a drain screw to get the oil out and a button like thing you push to pump out the oil. no need to break the tube. Best way to drain it is to get a big funnel and a milk carton, unscrew the drain screw and pump the button thing, after most of the oil drains, slowly remove the screws that hold the bulb to the alum, may need to pull them apart a bit and the rest of the oil will come flying out. thats were it gets messy.
I had a big honkin' Sony rear projector and each of the CRTs had a huge cast aluminum reservoir for the oil. Between the yokes, cables, and misc. other bits, I bet there was at least $10-15 worth of copper and a good $5 in just aluminium. Not to mention all the boards and insulated copper and the neat glass lenses on the tubes.
An if it's DLP...find that chip! It'll make it worth all the hassle..lest it does for me, but as you all know I'm easily amused/made happy.

Their are no gasses inside. How many threads do we have on this? And yes, it's a vacuum. But their is no such thing as "vacuumoniom" gas. It's not a gas. You break the tube, it sucks IN. Their is a phosphorous coating on the "screen" of the tube, and the glass is leaded. But dang, their is no gas.

Sirscrapalot, Unfortunately it wasn't a DLP.
This was my first Rear Projection I have ever taken apart. Was quite simple to be honest after I read your guys responses. I forgot that the tube had the clamp on it that once released you can just turn the yoke and voila. You have your copper piece.
Here is the amount of copper that I got off this RP minus the CBM's that obviously I'm not going to try and take off.
The smaller pile is #1 Copper as it came from some concealed pieces off the circuit boards.
Along with this I also managed to get 8 decent size of heat sinks.
