---Polyester Chip Bags for Manufacturing Plastic Products. What are they worth?

Hello,

I have about 20 of these polyester chip bags that are used in the manufacturing of plastic bottles or other plastic goods. I suppose they could be used with other products. I just serviced a plastic bottle company where I picked up the 20 and I can pickup several hundred more. I'm doing research on these bags ( its just the bags doesnt include the polyester chips.) to find out what they are worth and if I could sell them. These bags are hung and the stuff inside funnels down out the bottom. Does any one know what they might be worth?

I initially went and picked up cardboard from this plant, about $500 worth, and also some pallets, metal and a tv. Im thinking about picking up the bags but, I want to see what they are worth first.

heavy duty pags like those should be worth somthing, they could be used for lawn waste / brush or for storing stuff in, how many of those bags do they have? probably worth some money on craigslist if you can get enough to make it worth while, i know the store sells big paper lawn/leaf paper bags for $1 each

Look for some one that deals in SUPER SACKS or BULK BAGS.. they reuse them for a lot of things usually worth between 4 and 10 dollars each depending on the size and condition...Check out http://www.containerexchanger.com is where I find my Gaylord box's

We find them here in NZ quite often. Mostly they are used for holding (kitchen) salt.

I use them for my Ali cans, you can still move them around when they are full & have the handly 'outlet' in the bottom of the bag.

Speaking of bags, I have been using empty 40 lb bags that the TidyCat Litter comes in. The bags have a plastic coating and their really strong.
I fill them with mother boards for transporting, also wire going to the yard. It's really hard to tear a hole in them.
Check for them at your closest recycling bin. The price is right.

I use empty dog food bags for glass and mirrors!

Those huge bags the OP has would have to be worth something to someone I'd think.

I'm going to try to sell them for 4 for $20. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Update: I havent sold any of the bags yet but, I have been able to use them for hauling stuff. Sometimes Ill set one in the back of the trailer and fill it with construction debri and then just slide it off when I get to the dump so I dont have to shovel so much. Also, its been handy to fill with low-end ewaste and when I get to the scrap yard they just pick it up with the fork-lift by the handles on the bag. This are nice to have around.
