Cans
Hi everyone!
I am in a photography class in school, and just the other day, i was walking through a local park, and noticed in the trash cans a decent amount of cans. I didn't check the recycling bin because i know that if i were to rummage through it and a cop saw, id get in trouble. And while walking down a country road taking pictures i also found a decent amount of beer cans (im surprised to how many people drink and drive) and within a day or two, i accumulated about 5 lbs of cans and that's just walking on the side of the road and looking in about 4 trash cans.

My day job is in an office park in a neighboring county which is pretty poor. Wooded areas around the area seem to have been used for illegal dumping for years and years. I actually started my scrapping "hobby" by collecting cans in those woods. Pulled pounds and pounds of cans from there in a period of a couple of months. Some looked like they were 30 years old (too dirty and beat up to qualify as collector's items).
I guess cleaned up the environment a bit as well. :-)

always take a bag with you when going on a walk, you never know what you will find and need to carry home

And also a wire cutter or a knife, or both. They come in handy too, you never know when you'll something, you could end up being a cord cutter.
