New to tantalum hunting. Looking for help identifying. I see these have a + marking, so I am hoping they are tantalum. Origin of boards is unknown. Thanks in advance!

I believe those are tantalum. From everything I read on the forums here the + is the main thing in identifying them. I am still fairly new into the hunt for them also so I'm sure someone will know 100%
I think they are as well. Thanks for doing the pics like that. U will need a professional to look, but what I have gathered as well, I think they are.
I do not think the are Ta. I would need to see more pics. Remover the blue coating them let me see the ends. Also the (+) marking is the first step to I.D.ing them not the last. The shell will not be Al so If you can dent it easily its not a Ta cap.
The best test is a destruction test. remove the outers case and see what it looks like in side.

If these are not tantalum, are they worth removing from the boards? This is low grade board otherwise.... are the legs probably silver? Worth taking those off? I have an entire trashcan full of boards like this, so maybe with that volume there is value. Although with that volume I'd be thrilled to learn they are tantalum!!!
There was another board with a blue coated capacitor in my first post. It is in another location, so I won't be able to post tear down pics of that one today.

Pic #3 in the first set, those two are regular can capacitors. They have alum. shells.
