So as I just started escrapping, I decided to check on ebay what some parts were selling for. Do any of you guys sell the cooling fans from computers?
I have sold some NIB ones in lots of 5 from a stash of computer parts I acquired. A quick search of eBay sold items says they will, however prices varied significantly depending on quantity, type, size with/without heat sink, brand, stock/aftermarket etc..Quote:

I don't mess with them, unless they are brand new. Seems like the time spend on listing them would be waste. But that being said, if you just saved them up and listed them as a large lot, you may get more than motor price for them. People are crazy on ebay!! ;)

The only I sold were brand new one for me too, all the rest goes to my local scrap yard as "electrical breakage" for $0.20/lb.
