I just have this item, no cord(s). what is inside of it? It wouldn't be lead I don't think since it doesn't say lead. I can't find any info beyond what it is used for.
It also doesn't say Li-Ion or anything either. The case is non magnetic and its fairly heavy. I dont want to try and tear it apart if there is something bad inside. thanks for any help! (I did do a search but nothing came up)

Computer power thingy from I gather..so maybe a board, an heavy transformer? Going by Lind's website an their description of it's use.
I broke something open once similar, an I want to say I was surprised it was just a board with a heavy transformer.
Don't take this as gospel, just using what I found searching, an own experience with similar items.
Let us know if you decide to break it open!

i have taken these apart as well you might find a transformer and low grade board like he said and i believe a very small heat sink?? not 100% sure on the heat sink. check with your scrap yard if you don't want to open it some buy those as isQuote:

The ones I've taken apart had a mid grade board if I remember right. The housing is extruded aluminum.
