Scrapping Air Purifiers

Air Cleaners

Some scrappers dont know much about air cleaners, so they leave them behind on the curb.. But they actually contain many nice values such as Green boards, electric motor, and wiring and transformers. Posted some pictures below. I was careful with mine because i wanted to keep the fans. The easiest way is to drop them on a hard surface on a corner then they just pop right out.

Conclusion: If the night is weak with metals, air purifiers can be a good score. They must add up in order to make some profit. Most have a bad re-sale because these products are mostly found in smoking homes.

I've picked up quite a few of those benny! They come in different cases, some are wood and some are clear plastic. Mostly aluminum and motors and the boards like you said inside.

If you get the filters with the steel blades pay close attention to the wires running to them. They are ionizing wires (high voltage wires) some fall under the thermocouple category.
