Well the pregnant wife sent me out for some prego food as soon as I got home and luckly the neighbors decided to throw some stuff at the end of there driveway...

Sorry for the dark picture, anyone have and idea what that motor goes to? If it runs I may try and resell it.
hard to tell from the pic, is that an electric motor attached to an aluminum casing, or a gas motor attached to a something?
Kind of looks like a gas motor attached to a generator, just guessing tho.

It looks like an older generator. Judging by the oil filler it might be a Briggs & Stratton somewhere between six and ten HP. Where it's going into a generator head the output shaft is tapered. It's task specific to that particular application.
There should be a model # & serial number stamped somewhere on the engine block or air cowl. Always handy to have if you need to order parts.
