Hi.... I'm new to this form and to scrapping, so I'm just saying hello to all. Also, I have a load of desk top computers and parts that are useable that I want to sell as scrap. These are older units lots of precious metals in them. I need to make contact with a buyer in northern NJ, Morris County that can pick up from my location. Any info would be great.

I don't know if they pick up, but you can contact this outfit. I've been quoted some good pricing, and I am preparing a load of boards/ewaste to take up to him when I get some more.

Been doing this for over 3 years now and I've yet to find one with lots of precious metals in it. There's a little profit in them but it takes volume to really make some money. Whoever told you there was lots in them was blowing smoke up your skirt.Quote:
