Mother load of zippers, rivets etc from blue jeans?

Can I scrap these? Was wondering because a blue jean factory in my area was goin out of business they had a HUGE sale and I bought a lot of jean fabric to make braided rugs with this winter when scrapping in 20 below doesn't seem much fun anyway I decided today while driving by i'd go look in there dumpster and WHOA momma That god I had my largest car and the trunk was cleaned out I got 15 – 12X12X6” of all this stuff not to mention a boat load of jeans, jacket's, overall's u name it. The car was so full all u could see coming home was my head poking out from within the jean's and stuff...LOL

zippers can probably be sold to another manufacturer or to a wholesaler.

Lord I forgot to try Ebay first. Thanks for the reminder. but for the one's that was discarded cause the machine messed up etc and can't be used can I scrap those?

You can scrap them, test with magnet see what they are made of. Consult your yard.

those could be brass zippers and/or rivets. Sell the zippers as dirty brass or may be better to resell..

Some scraps could be baled into insulation, if you have a bunch the r value is killer high. Also carpet can be made of it, and tons of other things, as for the zippers they are brass or aluminum. You could get clean brass I'm sure, not dirty. Nice, and I'd love to see some pictures

My aunt made me lap blanket that I love. It is a small quilt made out of denim with a flannel backing. One she made for someone else even had the pockets.

Thanks for liking what I found ladies and really what I was after was the Denim Material in the first place for making braided rugs and Matt like U said Quilts. At our area craft fairs when folks come in to look at the leaves (We affectionately call them Leaf Lookers) I can sell 4X6 Rugs all day long for $125 each and the quilts MUCH HIGHER depending on size. I miss my little granny who taught me such trades as a small child of which I never forgot so this is how I honor her every year. My daddy I honor everyday by scrapping...LOL
