New here at the forum...
Hi all :) This is pretty neat...a forum for us scrappers/junkers. My husband and I have been scrapping for about 6 years now, started out just as a way to bring in extra cash until he was laid off from his job November of last year. Scrapping is his full time job now...I go along on the week-ends...thankfully I still have a regular full time job. Anyway....I love doing the scrapping...it is like treasure hunting....and it is great when I find stuff that I can re-sell on craigslist, auction or yard sale. Looking forward to meeting everyone, maybe learning some new tips/tricks on how and where to find stuff, and just making friends.

Welcome to the Forum, brandyridge. My wife is really getting into it too. She likes going through stuff and seeing what she can use. She's the ultimate "city girl" so it's kind of funny watching her. She's gotten a real nice exercycle. Lots of cast iron pots/skillets. Got a grill for our son when he set up his apartment.

Welcome from another new guy...Jury is still out with my wife but she hasn't been with me yet when the ATM at the yard starts spitting money out, she'll come around.
