Greetings from Wyoming!
We have members down in Australia and New Zealand that can offer some great help on shipping. You may be better off to ship those boards whole, but I don't know what the market is like down there.

Welcome from New York - if you find boards with Tantalum caps on em, those are worth removing. Other then that, remove your heatsinks and pads and other loose items. Most boards are worth more whole then if you remove items from them. I personally remove all the components but I'm also an end-of-life processor who consigns stuff, so for me the value is in the components.

Welcome to the forum. Good job on the amount you have. Continue with your studies both here and locally. Be certain of what you have and of the buyer you are going to deal with.
Many have lost and regretted not taking the time to fully educate themselves.
I would be interested in how you got from S. Africa to New Zealand, only if you want to share. 73, Mike

Hello to all, thanx for the above advice. Advice taken and noted. Tantalum capacitors are the nice goodies. Now if i want more advise on certain capacitors i may think are tantalum , do i post that under the tantalum buyer forum? My
queries addressed to a particular member or post open ended? Dont want to come accross as being rude. Thanking you all

If you read the entire threads dealing with Tantalum capacitors you will notice others have asked questions. Provide photos of the capacitors so the answers will be accurate.
Find the thread that tells how to post photos. In that thread it should tell you the number of posts you need to have before you can post photos. I think that the number of required posts is 9 before you can post photos. 73 Mike
