Failed Carjacking Turns Into Shooting In Sioux Falls

A master criminal for sure. Kudos to the elderly man and his quick thinking. A beating that could have killed him and his wife could have become a victim after being confronted by a hijacker. You know what happens now don't you? The crook now in the hospital will sue the elderly man and his wife for a claim of loss of work and wages plus he will sue for loosing the ability to support for his family. Stranger things have happened. They are all over the news.

You're probably right. It's to bad the guys aim wasn't a little better.

Probably shooting across his body while sitting, not an optimal shot.

I don't think they should worry about a lawsuit about the wounding. No jury in this county would reward this loser because he got hurt. We're a fairly safe metro and don't put up with violent crimes all that much. Besides, this winner is going to be doing time up on the hill on North Drive once he gets out of the hospital...
