Power supply snippers

I searched the forum for a while looking for the best tool to cut power supply wires and didn't find much. So I went to home Depot to see what they had that might work and came across these guys. They're cable cutters labeled as working for up to 2/0 copper cable. They cut through the ps bunch with an easy snip. And they were only 17 bucks. Well worth the investment for how fast they let you process power supplies. Regular cutters work but the wires like to squeeze out the front and take multiple cuts to get through the bunch. These hold the bunch in and cut like butter making for quick work.

I have a smaller version that I bought to cut romex, and it did power supplies in 2 cuts.

same tool I use........Have had trouble finding something to cut larger wire that is comfortable and easy to use

I prefer using side cutters, by putting my middle finger in between the handles which I use to reopen the cutters by lifting that finger you would be surprised how fast I can snip a large bundles of wires.

I've also used chopping block and a sharp hatchet when I have hours of cutting ahead of me.

I wonder if you can use those cutters that are for trimming trees, or would the blades dull too fast? Better leverage so you don't hurt your hands.

When I cut the wires from tower power supplies I use angle grinder. Very quick so I can do lots of them at one time. Last couple of years I've been selling them with the wires due to a very limited local market. Mike
