You're off to a great start. Welcome to the forum. The recommendation made to your other thread about reading old posts is really what you will want to do to maximize what works best for you.
You want to separate boards by type, not color. Next to the RAM, the hard drive boards are second in line for $$ per pound. The finger cards are worth slightly more than motherboards. The cd/dvd drive boards aren't worth much at all.
I don't cut the ends off ribbon cable. I just send it in with ends on. But everyone does things differently. With power supplies, I cut the wires and the rest goes to the yard as shred. Again though, everyone has their own reasons for doing things.
If your yard will take the pc cases with the plastic attached, I would leave it on.
You should be able to get prepared price for the cases as you removed all the plastic. I would make sure and ask when I brought them in. Prepared pays a little better than shred
My local yard pays tin price for computer cases.
Also, besides sorting the boards a little differently, read up on the processors, you got about 6 or 8 different categories to separate into. You can learn a lot by looking at some of the e-waste buyers price sheets and how they grade things.
You will get many different responses on your video, but the only way you will make money is finding out what works for you and your buyers.
I don't sell anything on ebay, I've tried and never a sale. I even had clicky keyboards and no sale. So I found an above scrap value buyer that remarkets it all.
I would have to agree with Hipogear and Hobo finds. but none of these answers could help unless you were using the buyers that they do.
