back in my car scrapping days i tried probably a dozen different brands several of them were "name " brands always went back to Milwalkie hands down. your thought. I had one of the few Dewalt 35 volt cordless sawsalls made till some one stole it out of my truck. it was so powerfull it was a wrist buster so they pulled it off the market pretty quickly.
I don't use sawzall blades much. I have a knack for bending them. I prefer a 4 1/2 angle grinder with a thin cutoff. Slices through just about anything I ask of it.
The Diablo blade is the best hands down! It lasts longer then others and best part is when cutting motor windings it cuts with out snagging the wires making it much easier to pull the wire out from the other side!
I went and purchased a set of fire & rescue blades. They seem to do the job. There double toothed. Cut thick steel and pretty much a car if you want. They are thick blades that dont bend that easy and last a longer time. I reviewed blades before i went with them. I think the ones i went with were milwaukee blades
We have a line of tools at work called the "Spyder Scraper". It's a scraper you get for your sawzall. I just saw today that the same company came out with double sided sawzall blades! (Can't believe I didn't think of that and make millions first...) They have teeth on both sides of the blade. Not sure of the companies quality, but the idea is fantastic.

I use DEWALTs DEWALT DW4865 9-Inch 10TPI Demolition Bi-Metal Reciprocating. They are made for Fire and Rescue and my local Hardware store sells them. I cut a full size school bus apart with only 5 of these blades. that was cutting it down to fit in my 6'X10' trailer. It was a lot of cutting and these blades proved themselves to me. I buy them 10 at a time now and always have them on hand.
I use "The Torch".

I agree with Idaho, 4 1/2" angle grinder with a thin cutoff blade. When cutting copper off a stater with a sawsall you waste too much copper, the cutoff blade is thin and gives a smoother cut, also use it for checking diffrant metals like copper, ss, brass. I don't normaly cut thick metals sence I mostly do electronics.
I'm a fan of Diablo. They cut well and last along time. I always had a problem bending any type of blade until I leaned to take my time and let the saw cut. And its important to keep the guard up against what your cutting.
