Hello
I have been in the battery industry for the past 25yrs of my life. I started when I was 17 and never looked back. I worked in the manufacturing of batteries as a young man and then on to sales of new batteries at national branch. I learned about recycling batteries and visited most battery manufacturers and smelters across the USA and some Internationally. After spending several years working for the man, I branched off with my family as an independent battery distributer and battery recycler. Over the years, we started an e-scrap division and the rest is history. I am looking for specific items but I am a buyer of electronic scrap and all battery chemistry types. /Bob

Welcome to the forum. It would help a lot if you let us know where you are from. Plus, for buying, you would need to pay for membership and start your own thread in the Buyers and Sellers Section.
With Lithium being so in demand, I would think that more people would get into recycling that. Can they make new batteries from old? Or does the lithium become inert at some point?

Thanks for the info. I'm from Wisconsin but I have a nationwide synergistic program available for aggregation purposes. Yes, there is always a need for cobalt and lithium, including the manufacturing of new batteries. I will start my own thread soon, sorry if I broke any rules. /Bob

You need a certain number of posts or to have a paid membership to receive and send messages. The latter will also allow you to set-up a buyer's thread like HipoGear said. Welcome to the forum from Las Vegas!
