Twas a great day!

Well it was a great day in this neck of the woods. Not only did a lot get accomplished around the shop as far as tear down is concerned, we were able to meet and talk with Mechanic668 and his son-in-law.

We talked, shot the S*&T, asked questions and just had a good time all the way around. Doing business in person is so much better than over the phone or the net when you get to meet great people.

So if you get the chance to meet these guys I would certainly advise that you do so. Good humored, full of ambition and just cool to be around.

I look forward to meeting other members in the very near future.

well, I haven't met them in person but I've exchanged some pm's with them and I wasn't surprised at your evaluation of them. I think we have some mighty fine people on this forum. The riff-raff comes and goes, but the core group feels like family.

Oh I agree, we do have some great folks running around this little corner of the web. It has turned into a wonderful place to get and give the best information for scrapping that anyone could ask for!

Glad to hear of a good meet-up experience.
