old cast iron radiator

Does anyone know what scrap yards are giving for cast iron radiators. I have a lady that wants them removed from her house. I already got 1 but the scrap yard aint open till sunday and im curious what its worth. the scrap yard is paying 150 for unprepared metal and 200 for farm equipment. Is cast iron worth more?

My current price for #1 iron is $0.1125/lb or $225/Ton. Prices vary by location and even yards.

thanks mick i can always count on you knowing. So is 3' scrap the same as #1 iron?

Yes. Your yard may be different, but for mine #1 iron is 1/4" in thickness and 2'x5' or less.
