Bio Diesel

The guy I was set up with to make my bio diesel at a 2-1 (two gallons of WVO for one gallon of bio diesel) Is not able to keep me in the fuel. So I am working on building a bio-diesel reactor.

This will be fun project as I use to be a pipe fitter so..this would be the smallest reactor I have ever made..but will be worth its weight in gold with the amount of fuel I could make with it.

I will have to do a smallish one for the space I have to work with but cant start it until I move into my new warehouse (hoping that will be soon) But will keep you all posted on how that is going encase anyone else in here was planing on making one for there diesel trucks.

P.s if you live in dallas and have a diesel truck this could be a joint project that you will profit from (in fuel). If so just shoot me a pm or post below.

Easy Check out this site ageratec.com. They build huge processors and you may be able to find some info.

I am building something simple as one thing I have learned...simple works best..the more crap you add...the more steps to remember and faster for you to mess something up. So I would like to split the reactor and the wash as to things...and going it like that..I can start another batch as the wash cycle started on the first one.

Lol there are alot of websites out there and alot of ways to make bio diesel. I am still working on how I want mine planed out but I will take photos all along the way on the building part

Easy, be very wary of any information you read on the Journey To Forever site. A lot of the information there is outdated, and in some cases just plain wrong. When your talking about brewing your own fuel, wrong info can have disastrous consequences. Sound like you burn through a lot of fuel - you might want to take a look at BioPro processors. They are expensive, but turn fuel making from a time consuming hobby into a production operation. I'm not affiliated with the BioPro company in anyway. I have looked into the BioPro and there is someone who is close to me who uses it but the fuel it makes is so so at times based on the oil.

I have not only been reading there but I have seen many sent ups from the simple to very over built setups. My setup will be one simple so very little can go wrong and two..cheap as I do not want to go spend to much at this time..I will work on a better set up later but I need something to work NOW kind of thing.

Yea I can burn as much as 100gallons a week.
