I see where the connectors on flat wire master and slave looms are the same price as cable ends is this true ?
are the pins from these flat wire looms classed the same as cable end pins or do I need to sort them.
are all rectangle shaped chips classed the same no matter if they are removable or not and no matter what size. for example are the chips on low grade boards such as floppy drives the same as chips on higher grade boards.
great questions....been wondering about those chips.
ic's can range from a couple dollars a pound to well over 200 a pound. post some pics of the chips in question.
gp connectors are basically all the same price. some exceptions for mil or space specs. i am currently paying $2.50/lb + freight.
In our dealings the difference in IC chips depends on what you can see. If there is gold visible then it is worth more than one that you cannot see gold on. The ones that are attached to boards or removable without visible gold are pretty much all the same no matter what kind of board they come off of. We find them on certain low grade boards and they sell for the same price.
rbrooks i think you should post your prices in the buyers section for all you except. Looks like you could be another good buyer for this forum. IF you deal with the small timers like myself.
