Coax
I was lucky and acquired what feels like 200 lb of coax, the pile is 5 X 4 x 3 tall , a tangle mess with other communication wire . It was a surprise when i realized it was CU. I find 1lb leaves you with a touch more then a 1/2 lb and the yard guy said the fine AL CU mesh over the CU wire is acceptable.
If i took the time to un tangle the wire - is it worth more then the CU price ? New coax goes for about $1.00 a foot. is this worth .25 or .50 per ft ? For me this was a lucky mother load find , most coax i find is the steel type.

Re-using cable
If it were still on a reel, you might have a chance at selling it for re-use, but the state that it's in, I don't think any reputable tech/installer would touch it.

What type coax is it? Part number? Depending on what it is it might be re-saleable. Mike.

If it's been out in the weather then it's scrap, CB'ers and hams don't want coax with moisture in it. Especially hams, they can be running up to 1000 watts so definitely no moisture.
