Buy or not?

I run into so many things I don't know about. If there is a place on this forum (I searched, by you never know if I missed) where we can post "should I purchase items", or if I am in wrong spot..thanks for moving this to where it belongs in advance. *hug*

I think if there isn't we should have a spot for this where it will be seen quickly. Some of these items we post may need immediate response to ad or be lost.

Today I came across the following. Questions from me to you are:

make an offer? less? or just walk away? On both items..are these worth buying to scrap or part out?

1990 Seadoo SP - $500
Fun little ski that is great to jump and cut up on.

Runs great just needs a battery and fuel.
-Single carb with flame arrestor
-Aftermarket pipe and waterbox
-Umi handle bars with billet trigger throttle
-Intake grate and rideplate

Need to sell no room for it. Does not come with a trailer. 500 OBO!

$90 Yamaha 200, 3 wheeler. im not sure what year it is... yellow and black paint... the motor is locked up may need new one... also needs 3 new tires

i would never buy one not running, I have owned a few sea doos and once a few things go wrong that engine likes to seize up. as scrap value in the item none- re parting out a 1990 ....wait im laughing to hard.....very long sale trying that........my opinion let that one go.

As for the 3 wheeler id find out the models weight somewhere online im no expert there.

Talked to my partna and he said the 3 wheeler is worth $20 scrap weight..ok, now I am laughing ;)

4 wheelers are great, 3 wheelers not so much in my opinion. I would run away from the skido, lots of plastic very little metal. Mike.

5 speed trans that was pulled from a 1995 240sx dohc in good shape. has shifter but no sensors 150 obo

i had a set of 3/4 inch drive sockets from taiwan i think i got for 20.00 when the store first introduced them around 85, then they went to 40, and I never broke any of those. Never much cared for their little wrenches and screwdrivers though

When in doubt, buy it cheap, that way your not gonna loose your skirt.

When in doubt, walk away or ask someone who knows. That's how you learn.

Christine, check into the 3 wheeler. Some of them are fairly collectible and you might make your money back quick on it in parts. Or maybe not :)

Probably not. I'd say walk away. From both.
