Generator or Cordless
I was wondering if I should get a generator. I have electric power tools like a sawzall and a grinder. Or should I just get cordless power tools? I do a lot of woods scrapping and I want to be able to cut the stuff out there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Go with a generator or power inverter. Nothing worse than dead batteries half way through a job!

thats what I was thinking too. HF has a small generator that weighs 40 lbs.

I run a 1000 and it's a little small but runs my Milwaukee Sawzall but a 1700 inverter would be big enough to run the bigger sawzalls or small grinders. I can run a couple of hours before I have to start the car for awhile. The inverter just clips to your battery, then take along a couple of 50 ft extension cords.

My parents think I should buy cordless, but why have two of the same kind of tool when I will have to woory about charging the batteries.

Invest in a generator since you have your tools, generator can also be used for other purposes ie: keeping beer cold in power outage. Huge plus.
