Anyone around Atlanta?

I work with old vintage motorcycles in atlanta, and wind up scrapping a lot of metal. I also have met a few scrappers around - some of whom have taken to perousing my dumpster often successfully for metal - and noticed sometimes they'll wind up with a lot of motorcycle or automotive scrap parts that I could still use.

I guess I was wondering if anyone sells parts they find as parts] instead of scraps. Is there a place for that? I imagine most scrappers scrap everything because it's simpler and easier, and they probably don't have a reliable buyer for good parts. But if you had someone to buy parts, would you sell them? how much above scrap value would make it worthwhile?

As far as how much above scrap price, etc, there's no guideline. Just how I feel at the moment, what I think someone might want, if I want to fool with it and so on.

Hey Wdaloz - I'm in GA but not Atlanta. I can say most scrappers that I know try and re-sell items on CL and places like that before scrapping. Scrap prices are the last option.
