I picked up some damaged tv's and broke them down, I need a price and location For drop off or free pick-up. The crt's themselves are intact except for the Laser or heating element. Broken when found. otherwise i would have left it in good shape.
I'd like to get a price but it's not needed...right now I just need them gone to a place that will take care of it properly. But since i plan to continue, I really need to find someone that pays for the scrap crt's
If all you have left is the tubes, you'll be lucky if you don't have to pay to get rid of them. Some areas you do.Quote:

yea, that's not even an option. If a place recycles whole monitors...You should take the tubes too. Glass and leaded glass is still widely used and extreamly recyclable. I don't understand why a business with leads for such items already setup...doesn't take them. It's a senseless loss of income. And adds to illegal dumping. Which is the problem i'm trying to help deal with. Thanks for the promt reply :big grin:
Some cities have a recycling drop off location.
Well if you live anywhere near me, I can already tell you, that they will need to be whole, or you are paying to get rid of them!Quote:
