I'm a newbie, and love to tear things up. Need to make this a go as I'm not raking in as much as i used to. Otherwise I have to go back driving flatbed trucks for a living (miserable). I bought this Uhaul truck in '06 for $800. drove well. engine seized up. I have no desire to attempt to sell as is. Would love to scrap it. Ideas on potential guys?
My question to you is do you have the tools and experience to pull the box and disassemble it? Do you have a vehicle to transport the disassambled Al box?
It might be best/easiest just to pull it accross the scales as is. Others will no doubt have better suggestions. Mike.
Sawzall the box up into manageable pieces imo.
look at newattitude's thread about her summer project, probably not a lot of difference in those vehicles.

Did you ever think of trying to sell the box? Some people buy them for storage containers. Run a 'parting out' ad on c/l while scrapping it. Offer less than junkyard prices, but more than scrap value prices and tell people they need to pull their own parts. Just a thought on my end.
