Taxes pay for roads, schools, some health care and more. It's the common good. Not to say all taxes are justifiable and they certainly pay for some horrible stuff too but the idea of pitching in for the betterment of community is a good ethic.

They also pay for horrible wasteful programs too. I'll only gonna pay the bare minimum for that reason
